Blunt Force Trauma is an Austin, Texas crossover thrash/hardcore punk band formed in 1999 by vocalist Bobby Fuentes and late guitarist Slaytoven. After an early hiatus, they resurged in 2007 with former D.R.I. drummer Felix Griffin behind the kit, cementing their place as a staple of the Central Texas underground scene. Known for ferocious live sets and raw, politically charged aggression, their key releases include Good Morning America... (2007), the Hatred for the State EP (2009), and Let Them Eat Lead (2012).
